The Democratic Party of Chaves County, like all county parties, has a few main functions. The first: To support candidates at the local, state, and national level. The Party does this in a number of ways: getting out the vote (calls, canvassing), passing out information and literature, and giving time and money. Second, our local party is concerned with raising money. This allows us to raise awareness on issues, contribute to candidates, and promote Democratic Party ideals. The third and final function of the party is to support and promote positive changes in the community. As Democrats, we believe in helping others and improving our community, and the DPCC is no different…we want to make a difference.
